La sinostosi congenita metacarpale é una rara malformazione della mano che solo occasionalmente necessita di una correzione chirurgica. In caso, pero, di epifisi divergenti si ha un progressivo aumento della deformita. In caso di sinostosi a "Y" tra IV e V metacarpo, gli autori propongono n osteotomia sottrattiva a cuneo, completata dalla sintesi con una vite che permette T'allineamento dell'articolazon metacarp-fg del dito con quelle delle altre dita.
